Our restoration + waterproofing division completed masonry restoration to the iconic NC State University bell tower. The Memorial Belltower dates back to 1921 and was built to honor the sacrifices of NC State alumni who lost their lives in military service in World War I.

A multistep process conducted by our team pulled out and removed dirt and impurities from this stone structure, leaving a visibly brighter and more radiant surface. Work included selective spot pointing and extensive hand cleaning using five different processes and products to remove the various stains and surface contamination on the 115 foot tall tower, 15 story tower.

This project also required building a containment pit and system to capture and neutralize all run off prior to disposing as ordinary waste.
