Litchfield Plantation House
Charleston, SC

Litchfield Plantation is a historic mansion built on property granted by King George III of England in the early 1700s, with original construction completed in 1740. Nearly 300 years later, WxTite performed comprehensive structural repairs to preserve this historic property.

The scope of work included structural repairs to both the front and back porches, slate roof repairs, replacement of numerous windows, window sashes, and doors, and recoating of the entire exterior. This historic preservation project required careful attention to period-appropriate materials and techniques to maintain the property’s architectural integrity while addressing critical maintenance needs.
