WxTite provided comprehensive roofing solutions for this facility in Roanoke, VA, combining a TPO roof replacement with a new standing-seam metal roof system. The upgrades improved the facility’s overall weather resistance and long-term roof durability.

Our team removed existing flashing at curbs, penetrations, and parapet walls, as well as lighting protection from the roof. We mechanically attached a ½” fanfold board and TPO membrane through the existing roofing system into the metal decking. Sixty-mil TPO was fully adhered to parapet walls, with all penetrations flashed in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. The main roof received field-fabricated expansion joints, and walkpads were installed at the roof hatch landing and around the service side of RTUs.

Architectural metalwork included dual-cleat coping, Rapid-Term edge, and the installation of a standing-seam metal roof on a prepared substrate.
